BRIEF
The FOTON 8cbm Garbage Compactor Lorry is designed to load municipal solid wastes and compact the waste within the vehicle superstructure thus avoiding long-range travel for little wastes and transporting them to waste treatment facilities.
The garbage compactor truck is composed of a sealed body, ejector plate, compaction plate, hopper, lifting device, hydraulic system, and control system. The advanced hydraulic system, the pilot-type back pressure design, and the peristaltic compression technology are used, which greatly improves the compression capacity.
FEATURES
Body
Body constructed from single steel sheet rolled wear-resistant and high-grade steel. The ejector plate guide on a 120mm rail profile, is capable to press the refuse from 3:1 to 5:1 depending on the refuse nature.
Container Lifting Devices
800 kg lifting capacity to lift and 2 bins 120L/240L
Hopper
- High Abrasive Resistant 6mm steel material, of hardness 450 HB for
enduring sweeper and shovel considered necessary for other parts of the hopper. - Hopper (tailgate) Floor, HB 450 / 6 mm;
Hopper Sides under the rail, HB 450 / 4 mm;
Hopper Sides above the rail, HB 450 / 4 mm.
SAFETY FEATURES
- The balance valve is fitted to the system to prevent the tailgate from descending in the event of a hydraulic failure. An emergency stop switch is provided to stop all operations instantaneously in case of an emergency. The switch is provided on either side of the vehicle.
- There is a ‘body prop’ provided on the tailgate to hold the tailgate in the open position.
